In the year to June 2006, the BSA issued 156 decisions. Of these:

  • 45 percent related primarily to good taste and decency
  • 30 percent related primarily to fairness, balance and accuracy
  • 12 percent of decisions were upheld in full or in part
  • 83 percent concerned television broadcasters
  • 17 percent concerned radio broadcasters
