Election Programmes Code of Broadcasting Practice - Consultation Report

Thank you to those who have provided us with feedback. The helpful submissions assisted us to complete our review of the Election Programmes Code of Broadcasting Practice (the Code).  The Code is now final and takes effect on 1 March 2020. It will be published in the Broadcasting Standards section of our website at the end of February 2020 once gazetted as required under the Broadcasting Act 1989.  This Code applies to Election Programmes which are broadcast between writ day and midnight on the day preceding polling day.
