BSA Releases 8 Decisions
The Authority has not upheld a complaint that footage of feral cats being trapped and shot in an item on Paddy Gower Has Issues breached multiple standards. It found relevant footage was clearly signposted, with two warnings about the content, giving viewers a reasonable opportunity to make different viewing choices. While some viewers may have found it unpleasant, the broadcast of hunting and pest control footage is generally acceptable in New Zealand provided it does not depict undue cruelty.
