It’s that time of year again when we put winter behind us and prepare to put our clocks forward. This weekend also marks the start of school holidays for most students.
As most parents will know, the switch to ‘holiday mode’ and daylight saving time can disrupt kids’ sleeping and viewing or listening patterns, increasing the risk they could stray into unsuitable content.
So it’s a good time for a reminder about the tools you can use to make informed viewing and listening choices for you and your whānau.

This is the first in a new series of bite-sized videos giving a simple introduction to aspects of broadcasting standards and the complaints process. We’re producing these in response to feedback that many people prefer more visual ways of learning. We’ll keep you posted as we roll out other videos in the series.
