Today we released two new upheld decisions. One decision is about an episode of Dog Squad which showed the complainant attempting to smuggle contraband to her partner in prison; the Authority found that this breached her privacy. The other decision concerns a promo for Face Off, a reality TV show in which the contestants are special effects make-up artists, which was shown during a children’s movie. The promo contained images of gory and wounded prosthetic body parts, which the Authority considered went beyond audience expectations of a G-rated family movie and breached the good taste and decency standard.
