BSA releases two new decisions
The Authority has released two new decisions today, both relating to complaints that were not upheld. In one decision, under the discrimination and denigration standard, the Authority found there was not the level of malice or nastiness in the challenged comment to constitute a breach of the standard. However, the Authority cautioned broadcasters to avoid language in sports broadcasting that amounts to casual racism.
