The Authority has released six new decisions today

The Authority upheld a complaint about a Newshub item in which the term ‘sensitive, private data’ was used to describe anonymous and aggregated data from a survey run by the Ministry of Education and I.D.C. New Zealand Limited, which was included in a report sold to technology companies. The Authority found that the statement was materially inaccurate and that the broadcaster had not made reasonable efforts to ensure that the segment would not mislead the public.
