Ren and Stimpy. Repeat of an episode of adult cartoon, complaint about time it was broadcast (6.00pm). Not upheld (good taste and decency, children's interests).
Just Kidding. Segment featured a practical joke in which a man in a straitjacket was seen asking passers-by for help. Complaint that the shot had portrayed mentally ill people in a denigratory manner and as inherently inferior. Not upheld (discrimination and denigration).
One Network News. Item reported the decision of the Prostitutes Collective to support HIV-positive sex workers who continued to work. Not upheld (good taste and decency).
3 National News. Report of an accident that morning where a schoolboy cyclist had been hit by a truck and killed. The pictures showed the cyclist lying on the ground at the scene of the accident. Not upheld (good taste and decency, fairness).
