Inside New Zealand. Documentary about debtors and debt recovery workers showed a debt recovery worker outside the home of a couple with a number of children, who were said to have a debt of $1600. Upheld (privacy). Order ($500 compensation to complainant).

Dateline. "Safe and natural" plant estrogens were said to offer relief for symptoms of menopause. Complaint that the programme was inaccurate and unbalanced. Not upheld (accuracy, balance).

3 News. A dietary supplement  was said to provide a possible cure for cancer. Complaint that the item lacked scientific credibility and used a deceptive programme practice and was misleading, as it could have raised false hopes for cancer sufferers. 3 News. Item about Parihaka commemoration. Complaint that item did not provide full and accurate information about the history of Parihaka, and that it had been unbalanced and biased in favour of the Parihaka Maori as a result. Not upheld (accuracy: further historical information not required).
