News items dealt with the involvement of the Prime Minister’s staff with Timberlands, reporting that although Mrs Shipley had denied such involvement with the company after she became Prime Minister, papers released that day indicated otherwise. 3 News and Nightline. News reports that police were hunting an armed robber who had shot a security guard in a shopping centre showed Armed Offenders Squad members approaching a house in Auckland. Complaint that the footage showing their house was a breach of their privacy. Not upheld (privacy).
